2 Step Charlie 07-322 [1]

Charlie has been transported from southern MN and has arrived in the frozen tundra of northern WI.  She is a petite little lady of about 45lbs, not chipped or spayed, hand shy, and afraid of loud noise and quick movements.  She eats like a PM dog.  We have been hand feeding her and scattering her food on the floor.  She will then eat it, but very cautiously and not very much.  We are going to work on these things and no doubt they will improve once she learns to trust us.  She has met our resident dogs and all is well there.  Some of the normal posturing from the resident male, but all has been worked out.  She has a vet appointment on Wednesday and will then get her true weight and a time for chipping and spaying.  She became car sick on the transport, but not until 130 miles into it.
