Bear 06-101 [1]

4/6/06: Bear is a 9 year old purebred Golden. Bear had been abused in his early years, and has spent several years with a family with two kids. The family gave Bear to RAGOM because of family medical concerns that did not allow them to spend the proper time with Bear that he deserved. Bear is already neutered and seems very healthy.

Bear has a wonderful personality and is very mellow. Because of his early history of abuse, Bear is skittish at times, and timid, and will take awhile to adjust to his foster home. However, he is already adjusting (within 24 hours) and is beginning to trust us. Bear listens extremely well to his name and most commands, and is housetrained. He is very non-aggressive and simply LOVES attention and being around people, and we think he would love walks, as he did not get them at his previous home.

We can?t wait to get to know Bear better, and as he gets to know us better, I am sure our next report will explain his personality in more detail. However, it is a pleasure to have a dog that is so nice and well behaved!
