Bella 13-337 arrived at our home in Moorhead, MN, on October 20, 2013. A HUGE thank you to the amazing transport team who sprung her from AHS and got her safely in our arms.

Bella is a four-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. She was rescued from the Pine River puppy mill over the summer, so given that, she's very shy and skittish. However, she is one of the sweetest dogs we've had the pleasure of fostering. Despite her frightened nature, we have been awarded with gentle kisses and tail wags. Bella absolutely LOVES our resident Golden Retriever, Rudy. This is the good news.

The rest of Bella's story is very sad. She has two massive inguinal hernias, which require a very expensive surgery. She also has a severe bladder infection, for which we are treating her, missing and cracked teeth, and hip displaysia and arthritis - all at the ripe old age of four. The vet thinks she must be in great pain. We are doing everything possible to keep her comfortable and loved.

As you can see, Bella is going to require extensive, expensive medical care. I'm going to be straight forward here, and ask if you'll please consider sponsoring her? Now that she's in the care of RAGOM, we want to show her what living a pain-free Golden Life is all about.
