Benny 06-547 [1]

12/15/06: Benny arrived at my house yesterday. Benny is a big, sweet, quiet and loveable guy. He is 12.8 years old and is so soft I just can't stop hugging him.

He enjoys his own company, and at times I had to go look for him because he is so quiet. He ignores my cats and has spent a lot of time sleeping.

Benny has arthritis so he gets up very slowly and is on Metacam to help the pain. I also introduced Benny to green beans which fortunately he likes so we will try to get some weight off those hips to help with the arthritis.

I will write more as I get to know him but I think with Benny it's what you see is what you get. He would love to spend his senior years being loved and having his tummy rubbed.

What a gentle giant he is!!
