Bo made his way into our hearts & home yesterday & what a sweet little guy he is. Bo is a purebred golden retriever that is 10 weeks old & weighs in at a whopping 15 lbs. He had a loving home but was surrendered into RAGOM's care when his family found out that he has a bad hip & they couldn't afford his medical care.

Bo is a sweet & fairly mellow little guy. He has his bursts of energy but also takes more than his fair share of puppy naps. He is partially potty-trained & we will be working on that. He sleeps through the night in a kennel, & although he tries a houdini act of trying to escape before the door is closed, he settles nicely. I'm amazed how little puppy biting he does & he's learning quickly "no bite" & "release". He of course gets along great with my kids, age 6, 12 & 15 & he also met my gang of goldens (2 males & 2 females) without an issue. Bo wants to play with them but it's been awhile since I've fostered a puppy & they aren't quite sure what to make of him yet.

I will be trying to get Bo into the vet this week for his first set of vaccines & to get microchipped. I will also be setting up an appointment for an orthopedic consult to see what can be done regarding Bo's hip. Until we find out more Bo will be unavailable for adoption but please keep this little guy in your prayers.
