Please welcome big, bouncy Boone to the Ragom family. Boone was living in a shelter where his owner of 4 months surrendered him due to a change in housing. He is estimated by two sources to be 2-3 years old.

He is a lighter golden with a big bushy tail and a big blocky head and huge feet. He is neutered and weighed 89 pounds at his vet check up today. He is now up to date on all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He gets along fine with our dogs. His previous owner said he was great with kids. Cats are unknown. He behaves well in the house and is totally housebroken. We have given him free roam of the house while we're gone (5 hours at a time) and he has been great.

He loves, loves, loves balls! He will retrieve over and over and over again. And if you're tired of throwing the ball, he will play all by himself! Don't think he has much experience with walking on a leash but he's getting better every day and no longer pulls. He sleeps all night and only barks occasionally. He's a big boy and has lots of energy. He will need a family who can provide lots of exercise - which would be easy to do as he will retrieve a ball for hours.

This is one very nice dog who needs nothing - other than a forever home. Some lucky family will have a wonderful addition to their family for many years to come. Call your placement advisor soon!
