If you are looking for a young (1 year old) male that is well behaved and a sweetheart of a dog, look no further, Bozley is your boy. Bozley was surrendered to RAGOM from a family that had young children and no longer had time for Bozley. However, they obviously loved him and treated him well as he is a very well adjusted dog. He is totally housetrained, doesn't chew on things, gets along beautifully with all the other dogs here (small and large) just wants to play, sleeps quietly through the night and I haven't needed to crate him at all. Super, super nice dog.

Bozley had eyelids that turned in and the eyelashes would rub against the eye so he underwent entropian surgery for both eyes. I took him to the vet today for a recheck of the surgery and the right eyelid is healing beautifully. The left eyelid he managed to get a stitch out at some point, so it's a little open and may have a slight gap later, but nothing that should bother him. Right now, he is sporting a cone, which none of us like. But with entropian, if he rubbed his head along the grass or the couch to scratch, he'd rip the stitches out, so we have to leave the cone on until the stitches come out. The stitches will come out in another 7 to 9 days.

Not only is the cone somewhat bothersome (but definitely protects the eyes, so necessary), it makes it darn difficult to get a good picture of our beautiful boy. You will have to use your imagination a little bit and connect the head picture with the body picture and you'll see the whole dog. A week from now all will be healed and we'll be able to get much better pictures. But, don't wait that long, come and meet him. He may be adopted before the cone comes off. There should be a line up of people wanting this boy.
