What do we know about Brody in the week he has been with us?! Well, Brody is a very young Golden/Lab that still needs to be neutered. He has a neuter appointment on 1/28/16 and will be able to be adopted after that. He is a very big boy weighing in at 82 lbs. He is very excitable and needs training as the only thing he knows is "sit," and even that he doesn't seem to know very well.
After he got to our house, it took him a few days to start eating two meals a day, but he is eating well now! He went to the vet last week, and is healthy and negative for heartworm disease which is great news! The previous owners stated that he can chew through an antler in a few days and that he pushed under the chain link fence that they had, so a physical wood privacy fence is what is needed for this boy!
He gets along with other dogs as we have an older Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd and he leaves the older dog alone and wants to play with the younger one. When it comes to people, he loves his people!! He likes to be wherever you are! If you leave the room he will follow you to where you are going! He is also kennel trained which is great, because his previous owner stated he chewed on some things in the house if he wasn't being monitored.
