It is my pleasure to introduce you to Brooklyn. She was found as a stray and was being held at the Humane Society. She is a skinny little girl weighing in at 42 pounds. Turns out that she has a pretty bad case of heart worms and will be starting her treatment on 12/15. She is a real sweetheart and even as sick as she is, her tail never stops wagging.

She gets along well with the resident dogs and seems to be pretty well housebroken. She has had a couple accidents but I believe that is due to the medications she is on for the fluid in her chest which makes her drink alot of water and have to go potty.

I am not sure how she walks on a leash because at this point she is not supposed to go for walks. Just walking around the house causes her to cough so we have been trying to keep her as quiet as possible. She loves her crate so that has been a big help! We will keep you updated on her progress through this rough heart worm treatment.
