Buddy 08-280 [1]

We would like to introduce you to the best dog ever, Buddy! He is a 2.5 year old PB that weighs 68lbs. He is a beautiful red in color and has already been altered. He went to the vet today and he was updated on all of his shots. He is even currently on heart guard and flea/tick prevention. The vet did find some hook worms in his fecal but he is taking medication to get rid of them.

Now a little about Buddy's background. He was recently surrendered because his surrendering family has been through a very hard time lately (death in family) and now they are having to move. This dog is wonderful! He has already had basic obedience training (he can sit, lay down, and shake). He has free run of our house and has not had any accidents (we've had Buddy now about 5 days). He will go into a crate but looks very sad if he has to stay in there. I guess he has issues with being boarded as well. He does not do very well being kenneled for a long period of time.

He is great with the kids (3, 6, 13) and our resident dogs. I don't know how he is around cats but we have a dog about that size and he ignores him. He is a super calm dog but can play like a puppy every once in a while. He pulls a little on the leash but not enough to try the Gentle Leader yet. He loves to ride in the car with his face out the window. He loves toys and to chase the occasional tennis ball. He does bark, but only when people walk by and is very good about quieting down when corrected. I think Buddy would benefit from a home with a fence.

I cannot get over how nice of a dog he truly is. He is going to make some family VERY happy. He's just a happy boy that wants a family for his very own. Do you have a spot for this perfect dog? If you are interested in coming to see Buddy please contact placementragom [dot] org
