Hi, my name is Buddy Black, I am being fostered in Minneapolis.  I am a male golden retriever/flat coated retriever mix.  I am ten years old and as sweet as can be.  I'm not a very big dog, about 45 pounds. I came into RAGOM because my previous owner could not give me the attention I deserved.  I do have some health issues going on right now that we are working on. Please don't be alarmed, they will be gone soon.  I have a yeast infection on my skin and have lost some of my fur so my foster mom is giving me a bath every week and medicine.  I was not feeling very good when I first came to her but I am definitely feeling better already. 

Even though I am an elderly dog, I am strong and healthy and have some great years ahead of me.  I LOVE to play in the yard and go for walks.  I am a good walker with my gentle leader, and I treasure these daily walks.  It feels so good to get outside, and I don't even have any hip problems as many goldens do.  I am potty trained so I do not make a mess when my foster mom goes to work all day.  I LOVE to cuddle, am very gentle, and listen very well.  I LOVE to be around people, which of course is my nature being a golden and all.  So if you are looking for a dog who will spend most of his time alone, I'm not the one for you.  I need a lot of good care and attention, and I will give you a lot of love and care in return.  Please come visit me if you want a loving  companion who will always be by your side to snuggle, listen and even watch t.v.
