Profile
Chance is a 4-5 year old Golden Retriever mix. He weighs about 55 lbs., is neutered, housebroken and up to date on all vaccinations. Right now he is on antibiotics for kennel cough. His cough has gotten much better since we got him last weekend. Chance has a very thick cream colored coat with some black hairs mixed in.
Chance was surrendered to a Humane Society because his previous owner did not have enough time for him. He is a very easy going, laid back dog, is fine around cats and other dogs. A few nights ago, we did discover that he is a fence jumper. Our fence is only about 3-4 feet high, so a higher fence might be fine for him or he may need an invisible fence or tie out. He likes to play fetch with a tennis ball while out in the yard, but he does stop after a short time because he is out of shape and needs to lose a few pounds.
Chance is great in the house. He tells us when he wants to out by going to the back door. He loves chewing on the nylabones and rawhides and will do that while he lays by you wherever you are. He is a people dog and wants to be close when you move about the house. He isn't a "clingy" dog at all, he just likes to be near by.
We will send in more as we get to know Chance better.
