Hellooo Minnesota,

My name is Cliffy. But you can call me BRD (Big Red Dog). If you've got a couple minutes I'd like to tell my story?

Going to start with the Thank You's first. To Miss Kate, who drives her truck around Kansas City, MO filled with food, shelters, water and treats. Thank you!

She found me a year ago chained to a tree and came by almost everyday with food and water. That was the only life I knew. It started when I was a puppy. Miss Kate brought a house for me and my friends and traded my short chain for a cable. I ran away once and got hit by a car. No doctor. Now I have a bad hip. When I got back home, my owner tightened my collar really tight so I wouldn't run away again. Miss Kate tried to persuade my owner to give me up. And a year later I got rescued by Miss Jessica and Miss Kate. I went to the vet for the first time ever and got sick. Miss Jessica let me live with her for a couple days to get well. Someone called RAGOM to get me up here. I lived with Miss Summer until my third attempt at transport last week. Miss Summer wanted to keep me forever, but knew I would have a better life with RAGOM. So here I am. HUGE Big Red Dog. Hugs and kisses to everyone in Kansas City and to my transport people. And to my best friend, Bear, RIP buddy.

Yesterday Dr. B. said I'm a healthy boy except for my bum leg. I'm used to the discomfort, but I can't run and play like most dogs. I rest a lot cause of the pain. I still try to keep up with Heather 09-275, but I think that's a lost cause.

Just found out the wonderful Dr. Rasmussen is going to fix my leg in 2 weeks. I'm very greatful for that. So, there you have it. I could really use a sponsor or 2. I have nicknames around here like Sparky and couch potato. I'm living the golden life now.

I will explain Sparky when we get a good photo of how I sit and lay down.
