In addition to LOVE this dog has the following requirements:Date AvailableChildrenOther DogsCatsFenceEnergy Level 8/17/175+ Can live with other dogs Dog savvy Physical or Invisible fence required HighSophie came into RAGOM due to the amount of energy she has. She is still a puppy and has a lot of puppy behaviors. Can be mouthy at times, chews, and needs to learn house manners. The previous owners stated she had too much energy for their household. This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.
I would like to introduce you all to Sophie 17-156! She is a sweet black Doodle. She weighs 47 pounds and is nine months old. Sophie is housebroken and will go to the door and bark when she needs to be let out. She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Fecal and heartworm test were negative and she has been been given her flea and tick and heartworm preventatives. She has no health issues.
Sophie does have a lot of energy, but hey, she is still a puppy, right? She loves to play with my pack of dogs and her previous owners said she is not scared of anything, and they were right! She is respectful of my older Golden and does not attempt to play with her much. With my resident Doodle and younger resident Golden, she enjoys wrestling and chasing them around the yard.
She does have a lot of puppy behaviors so will need a family who has the patience and time to teach her right from wrong. She has brought me a couple shoes and in her previous home she was said to chew on EVERYTHING. She will jump up and gets very excited when you come home and would easily knock over toddlers. She knows basic commands like sit and down but we are working on manners. She will counter surf and beg for food, but with training will make any family very lucky!!
If you think Sophie would be a good fit in your home, please submit an "Inquiry for Application" form. If you have already filled out an "Inquiry for Application" form, please send an email to applicationsragom [dot] org with the dog's name, RAGOM number, the name you submitted the "Inquiry for Application" form under and a sentence or two why you feel you'd be a good match.
