Profile
Haley has been with me since Thursday night and seems to have fit right in. She even went to the RAGOM Event in Plymouth yesterday and did just fine. In fact, she seemed to really enjoy meeting people and even greeted store patrons on her own.
This is what I know (which isn't much at this point): she is 11 years and 10 months old (but doesn't look or act it), she is on the smaller side, a little on the thin side, she is extremely sweet and gentle, starved for attention (of course most goldens seem to think they are), she isn't a velcro dog but she does like to be in the same room as her person, walks well on a leash, has learned that sleeping on the bed is far better than sleeping on the floor next to the bed, she gets along with dogs of all sizes (from 6# snarkey little dogs to big dogs), she ignores the cat and she knows sit, down, shake and a few other tricks. Haley is an owner surrender and she had been a much loved pet but due to a change in the family she no longer could live with them. She is housebroken and has free roam of my house. She has kids in her past so she would do fine with older kids for sure, but she will be little kid (ages 1 & 3) tested this afternoon when my grandkids come over.
She will be going to vet on Tuesday afternoon so I will be able to tell you more after that. I do know that she has several lumps under her chin, so I will have those looked at on Tuesday.
