Hope 06-242 [1]

6/7/06: Hope is very dainty and very red. I don't know if she has had a litter of pups or not but will surely find out today. She is absolutely perfect on the leash, although not trained. Is quickly learning to wait before exiting or entering the house. Stays with me in the yard but will wander off but not aggressively. I keep her on a leash if I wander around our cul de sac as I don't trust her to come. Hope is learning her name and does return to me when called but not as enthusiastically as I would like. She gets peanut butter mixed with her food as that is the only way she will eat it (has anyone thought to develop peanut butter flavored pills and food?). Hope is totally house trained and bothers nothing that she isn't supposed to bother.

Hope is a Mississippi baby and somewhat timid. She is absolutely beautiful and lovable. So far she is learning how to fetch (seems to her the other dogs have a good time doing this), run and play and to rest and relax. She is very puppyish and I would estimate her to be around 1.5 years old. She is just learning to have fun..... She spins her tail when she runs. With our two male dogs (Marty and Parker) she is totally submissive. She may become more assertive as she matures and gains confidence.

Hope is not spayed and her earliest spay would be a week from this Friday (June 16th).
