Jake (Jack 09-101) [1]

Jack is a neutered (male) 14-month, 70 lb golden mix. He has a really pretty light red coat, the most unique golden eyes, and a tad bit of black on his constantly wagging tail! He is tall and slender and a very happy young guy! He is current on all vaccinations and in perfect health. Beautiful white teeth!

We picked him up this morning and he jumped right in the back of the truck and half way thru his hour drive to our house he was up in the front seat in my daughter's lap… still thinks he is a puppy :). He met resident dog (10 yr old male German Shepherd mix) and they have been playing all day. He LOVES toys – piles them all up on his bed.

Believe it or not … he goes to the door and rings a bell to let you know he needs to go out. I also know that he goes to the door and whines as well – because I forgot to put the bell up for the first 12 hours he was here! He barks to come in – but no other time. We have a fenced in yard and he loves to run. He didn’t have one before and stayed around just fine.

A family adopted him that has a 2.5-year-old little girl. They realized within a few days that he was just too big for her – even though he was a very good boy. He doesn’t jump, he sits, shakes and walks (pulls a bit) on a leash. He has met quite a few people (all 15+) and likes everyone. What an easy guy to please! He is a great dog that I am sure will be snatched up pretty quickly.
