Hi there. My name is Jenna (or so foster mom said), but I don't remember anyone ever calling my name. Jenna. Jenna. Sounds like a warm fuzzy. Okay, so let me tell you about myself. I am a petite, 2 yr old PB dark gold. Before Sat. May 10, I really did not have a life...living in a hog pen was no life. And no one ever loved me. That was sad, but I just KNEW there was a happy life ahead for me. I was right.Foster Mom took me to the vet, but I made her work. She had to carry me as I do not like the leash thing. I weighed in at 65#, free of heart worms, had a pedicure, micro chipped, got UTD and will soon be spayed. I try hard, but I am really afraid of walking humans. When FM crawls, I will let her kiss me and whisper in my ear. There are 2 other Goldens here and Grayson is my man. Where he goes, I go.FM has brushed, combed and trimmed me. She sits on the floor and I will give her tiny kisses on her feet and hands. Trust is hard for me, but I will learn...it just might take me awhile. It is foster mom's turn, and she wants you to see how beautiful I am.Foster mom here. Jenna is a precious little girl. Since she has never enjoyed a clean, safe home, she behaves like a puppy, a cute puppy that smiles! When Jenna sleeps, she is surrounded by her newest 'possessions'. This morning she had 4 or 5 rugs, one slipper, several bones and Grayson's prized tennis ball. She doesn't chew or destroy, just collects.I have not bathed her, as that might just be too much, too soon. The evening brushing has removed most (not all) of the pig smell, not one of my favorite scents.Time, patience and love will heal Jenna. She is a gentle soul.
