Jerry 07-417 [1]

Meet Jerry!  He is a sweet Golden Lab mix.  Our best guess is that he is 8-10 months old. He has traveled a lot for such a young guy.  He is originally from Missouri, then was sheltered in Iowa, now he resides in Minnesota!!!    He is happy loving dog.  He loves being anywhere we are.  He likes his squeaky toys and loves to play.  His favorite spot is anywhere you are willing to pet him nonstop.  He is a little timid around new people, but hand him a treat and he quickly knows you are okay!!!  He met our cat and it was an isntant friendship.  Since Jerry still had his leash trailing him the cat loved the leash toy and Jerry loves the cat toy!!!  He makes little noise, except when the cat sits just out of his reach, or won't come back to play when she has had enough.  She doesn't stay away long and they are back to playing follow the leader once again.  Jerry isn't fond of going into his crate, but once inside he lays down and sleeps peacefully through the night.  Not a sound all night except for a yawn or two.  He was a little leash shy when he first arrived, but he seems to be adjusting to it nicely.  He loves going for a walk!We were in the back yard last. Neither the thunder or fireworks seemed to be of any concern to Jerry.  He did look to where the noise of the fireworks was coming from and even ran toward one of the louder ones, but didn't show any signs of fear or anxiety, just curiosity.  They started to get louder and closer and he calmly walked toward the house ahead of us, looked back as if to say, come on lets get inside. He is a great dog and will make an excellent companion to both adults and kids alike!
