Jordan 08-253 [1]

Jordan is one of three brothers that found themselves alone and ready to start a new chapter of their lives. Their owner died so RAGOM was contacted to see if we could help these guys out of a situation and give them the love and care they deserve. Jordan is two and a half years old, he weighed in at 61 pounds and is a Golden Retriever/Gordon Setter mix. He has lived with his brothers his entire life on a lake with a single owner. His first vet visit yesterday went very well and he is back today being neutered.

When we got the boys to my house, they were all pretty dirty so we hooked up the hose to my inside faucet and everyone got a bath in the doggie pool. They were all great and stood for us while we washed, scrubbed and rinsed each of them. It was a beautiful day out so after a little towel dry they all dried off in the sun. Their coats are just a beautiful soft, shiny black. The three of them together is quite a sight! They are all very friendly, a little rough around each other but just perfect when no brothers are around.

We thought Jordan was the shy one of the bunch but I think he is just scared of car rides. I would think he has never been in a car so our first impression of him in the backseat was that he was scared and shy. Jordan has proved us wrong. He seems to rule the roost over his brothers. He will let them know if they are out of line. However, once he is alone without his brothers, he is just as friendly and adorable as Jared and Joey. What a bunch these three have been. I have no doubt Jordan will be an awesome dog for some great family.
