Sweet, sweet girl!!  Lova ya. - Kraelyn and Lilly

Dear RAGOM fans, let me welcome you to Juno 13-170. I just turned 7 months old on June 20 (DOB: 11/20/2012). I was saved from a puppy mill in South Dakota along with my littermate, Paris 13-169, and two other dogs, Zane 13-171 and Stella 13-172. Thank you to Deb A. and RAGOM volunteer Rona D. for helping to get me and my companions out of that place.

Now for the details about me. I am very petite and have a beautiful dark red fur coat. I weighed 33 pounds on Monday when Foster Dad dropped me off for my spay surgery. I had a quick checkup, and just like my sister, I have a bit of an ear infection and also a puppy skin infection. So Foster Dad has been busy giving me some meds every day. I am getting better about taking my meds, but FD has to help by disguising the pills with peanut butter. All I can say is where has peanut butter been all of my life, YUMMY!

Foster Dad says the biggest challenge has been trying to keep me calm since my big surgery. With my youth and energy, I just want to play. Now that I actually have a big yard to tear it up in, I can't do so because he keeps hooking me up to that short leash. Plus my play pal Jorja (black and white Cocker Spaniel) wants to play too, but she had her spay surgery 5 days before mine. Jorja also used to live at the same puppy mill as I did, but she was rescued in February.

I am learning the ropes of living in a house, rather than a barn. I have had a few accidents indoors, but Foster Dad is working hard to train me to go outside. I am very shy. Sudden movements and loud noises do startle me. Although FD ran the vacuum by me and the other dogs, I was the only one that didn't run off to the other room.

My ideal forever home will have:

  • Another dog that likes to play (preferably young/younger).
  • A physical fence since my recall is nil and I am a flight risk.
  • A quieter home (kids should be teens or older).

If you would like to meet me or know more about me, please contact your placement advisor.

XOXO,
Juno
