My name is Kellie Ann and I am 9 years old. Yes, that's right. I am 9 years old. I was surrendered because of a change in my family's situation even though they've had me since I was 7 weeks old. RAGOM rescued me from the orphanage. Can you believe I had to be in a shelter? Me. A card carrying member of the AARD (canine equivalent of AARP). It's appalling. Someone of my years, with all of my acquired wisdom, dignity, and grace should NOT find themselves in a shelter. I am GRateful to RAGOM for springing me and bringing me into foster care. When I got here I was treated to a complimentary beauty treatment by Foster Mother and Foster Aunt. It was much needed and I must say I am, once again, gorgeous. There are two resident dogs here and we get along swimmingly. They were not treated to the spa activities so it must be something reserved for refined and elegant seniors such as myself. Foster Mother assures me that, since I am such a dignified, respectful girl, I am sure to find a forever home where my new humans will love me so I in turn can love them. (For the record, Foster Mother and I have agreed that my putting my front paws in one's lap and licking their chin is NOT undignified.) I have much to offer in the way of companionship and am prepared to return ten fold the love I receive. Oh...and when I get into that new forever home...? I shall wear purple.
