We loved him being by our side every second of the day and we are heartbroken beyond words, but we know it’s not good-bye, but rather ’till we meet again when together we cross over the Rainbow Bridge."  

Leah is an adorable golden girl.  She was a stray and was brought into the RAGOM family earlier this week.  Leah got her first vet visit, and was determined to be around 12 years old.  She looks very large for her tiny weight of 51 lbs, and needs to be fed back to good health.  She has a few known health issues - possible arthritis in her back legs, lenticular sclerosis (gray eyes - not cataract); and some unknowns.  We are going to fill her in and then take her back in a few weeks for some more tests.
 
Well now that we have the age and medical stuff out of the way, let me tell you some more about this wonderful and sweet girl.  Leah is settling well in our home; she has a wonderful attitude, and does not let her age or her bad legs get in the way of showing you that she is a typical golden:) She loves her treats, and car rides - don't think you can start up a car and leave her behind, because she will try and get in there...pretty funny to watch.  She is house and crate trained and will let you know when she wants to go out.  She is very patient and tolerant, and will let you groom her without any complaining.  Her zeal for life is infectious.  Her tail wags in circles all the time - this girl never has a bad day!!!! 
 
Leah is a senior citizen who needs a place to call home and someone who will give her lots of love and attention. Stay tuned for more updates on this princess.
