Profile
Lilly is settling in nicely and is a very sweet girl for living her short life outside. At first she was scared of many things as most outdoor dogs are: going thru doors, walking on bare floors, stairs, car rides, some nervous pacing and sudden movements. Slowly but surely she is making good progress on all of these areas with a lot of help and demonstrations from the resident Ragom girl.
On Saturday Lilly bravely had her first vet appointment and did well considering she was a bit scared and shakey. A good squirt of canned cheese on the exam table preoccupied her enough to receive her DHPP and Rabies vaccines and her microchip. The vet confirmed her fecal results today and she has a good case of roundworms and whipworms and has started her medication. She will need to be retested in 3 weeks.
The foster family and resident dog have fallen in love with this black little beauty and is planning on adopting her as soon as her spay surgery is completed Wednesday Feb 24th.
