Lily 05-169 [1]

6/4/05: Lily arrived at my home today with her sister, Rose. They are 14 week old sisters and have mange. Fortunately, the type of mange they have can be treated and is NOT contagious. They are little love bugs ? very sweet and friendly. Lily is the more vocal of the two, and has the most hair loss. She is fairly bald on her face, chest, front legs and belly. She seems to be the first to investigate new things ? she saw my horse and ran to the fence to give him a piece of her mind, while her sister, Rose, ran for safety.

So far, I have crated them for a short period of time, and they curled up together and went to sleep. They have been having fun playing with all the soft toys, splashing in the baby pool and running around the yard with my other dogs.
