Lily 07-260 [1]

We’d like to introduce this beautiful lady Lily.  Lily was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri on Friday.  Thanks RAGOM!  Pictures do not do her justice and she is a gorgeous, soft light blonde girl.  Lily is 8 months old and shares the exact same birthday as our resident puppy Sierra.  It only took 10 minutes for Lily to come out of her kennel last night and begin playing with Sierra.  Once she isn’t nervous the inner puppy comes out and away they go playing!  Autumn (07-180) also welcomed Lily with kisses and bringing her, her chew hoof. Lily has taken to all of our dogs rather quickly, but is still nervous about humans and house life. She sniffed noses with our cats and didn’t seem to care about them.  She is scared of doors and foster Dad had to actually carry her outside last night to go potty.  Today she is doing better and walking a little better on her slip lead.   Lily doesn’t like her crate and cries when put in there.  She prefers to hide behind our kitchen table and sleep on the rug there.  This is fine during supervised times, but at night she is in her crate.  The crying only lasted a few minutes until she discovered her new Nylabone, thanks to someone at the RAGOM Petco event who bought this bag of goodies for her! We know Lily came from clean conditions, seems to be in relatively good health with the exception of both ears being infected and still needs to be spayed.  She will go to our regular vet this week for a more lengthy examination.  She is such a pretty gal she will turn heads everywhere.  More updates to come as we get to know Lily better.
