Lucky arrived this weekend and he is one beautiful boy! He is 2.5 years old and looks like a black Golden Retriever with a white chest and white front paws, and at 60 lbs is a great size. Lucky was surrendered by a family that could no longer care for him. We went to the vet today and he has fleas, a minor ear infection and needs a good teeth cleaning. Other than that Lucky is now current on his vaccinations, neutered and in great health.

We are just getting to know him but so far Lucky seems to be potty trained, learning how to walk stairs and on a leash. He is good with or resident Mia and 10-204 Serena [2], and very calm and gentle with young kids. I’ll write more after we have a chance to get to know our handsome new boy!
