Lucy (Venus 02-276) [1]

Venus is a 4 month old female puppy. She's a happy puppy who loves to romp and play. We are working on potty training and learning a few commands. She's a little underweight at 18.9 lbs, but she's eating like a trooper! For a puppymill dog, she's in great shape and well socialized. Venus is being treated for mange (non-contagious) around her face and head. This condition is from improper care while in the puppy mill. This is very simple to treat with just a bath with medicated shampoo and a "dip" in her medication every two weeks. It's starting to clear up already and it doesn't seem to bother her. Pretty soon she'll look like new! She also has a small hernia (belly button area) and this can be easily repaired when she is spayed, however, she can't have anymore vaccinations or be spayed until the mange is cleared up.

She is a little spit fire who keeps us laughing all the time. She does come when called and is going to need a gentle leader while walking on lead as she has a tendency to pull a little because she's so rambunctious and always wanting to play.
