MacGyver 11-005 [1]

MacGyver may be the sweetest, silliest foster we have ever had!  He arrived over the weekend and has made us laugh and smile since then with his playful, happy spirit.  MacGyver will be three in April, and is a neutered purebred GR.  He is wonderful with both my resident Mia and foster 01-240 Honey [2].  MacGyver is also crazy about my 6 and 9 year old kids, but I think his most favorite thing is his blanket!  He has a full size bed blanket that he pulls around the house, sleeps on, plays with and shakes in his mouth.  It’s the first time I’ve had a dog with a blankie! J  MacGyver is a wonderful dog, and was clearly well cared for and loved throughout his life.

He was surrendered by his family due to allergies and a possible torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), which is one of the ligaments connecting the bones of the knee joint.  MacGyver has a vet appointment this weekend so we can get a better idea of what he needs to help with his allergies, and how to care for his ACL. In the meantime, enjoy his photos – he is a very handsome GR!
