Mandy (formerly known as Maggie) arrived safe and sound at her foster home last night. She is an 8.5 year old golden with the sweetest demeanor there ever was! She rode very well in the car but doesn't like to actually get in. She allows you to help her in and once in she settles in for a nap. Mandy was recently returned to RAGOM after her family went through some very difficult times. Her return to RAGOM did not have anything to do with her and her adoptive Dad was very sad to see her go. Sometimes life is not fair, and for her adoptive family that is by all means the case so Mandy has returned to RAGOM to find a family who is able to give her what she needs at this point in her life. She has experienced love which is something new for her since she is an ex puppy mill momma.

Mandy has absolutely no aggression at all. She met our dogs without incident (her tail was wagging the whole time!) and doesn't mind our cats either. She will even allow them to snuggle up with her which is not suprising since she is a major snuggle bug. She is 100% housebroken and spent her first night here with free roam. She slept on the sofa until a storm came through and then she found her way to the bed. She does have some storm anxiety but has no problem being left home alone as she was left with free roam for about 4 hours today. She has been a perfect house guest. She is afraid of loud or sudden noises but comes back to check it out eventually. If you are looking to adopt a senior - look no more! PS - She recently had an exam before coming into RAGOM and is in excellent health. :o)
