Profile

Hellooo World!!!

Marley here! I am a brand spanking new 14 month old blonde RAGOM bombshell boy and I am ready to meet, lick, love, hug, romp, run, wiggle and cuddle with my forever family. I came from a family who loved me very much, gave me a good life and a great foundation. Much like the movie, they have a baby on the way and being the exuberant fellow that I am, I understand and thank them for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of a family who isn't strapped for time so they can still play with me!

What I love:

  • LIFE!
  • PEOPLE!
  • PLAYING!
  • TOYS!
  • RUNNING!
  • LEARNING! (Foster family says I am very smart and a quick, enthusiastic learner.)
  • OTHER 4 LEGGED FUR BALLS (I've lived with dogs and cats - I could be an only boy or would love a playmate.)
  • BEING A PART OF IT ALL!!
  • I put these all in caps because this is how I think! JOIE DE VIVRE!!!

What I need:

  • An active home (a fenced in yard would be a plus although I am on a tether when I go out at my foster pad right now and I am doing great!)
  • People who see life like I do...the glass is always half full!
  • Maybe children 10 and older (I don't have a mean bone in my body but I may knock a wee one down on accident when I get my excited wiggles going on!)
  • follow through to the training I have already had. I have the capacity and temperament to learn lots more!!

I am so smart that I have NOT had one accident in the house, I sleep on my bed in my Foster Folks room, I ride like the Champ I am in the car, I see Foster Mom go for the treats and I zoom my little wiggling buns in the kennel...I already know what she wants! I sit and lay down on command (after I have settled down a bit if someone new has just come in the house...remember, JOIE DE VIVRE??...sometimes it makes sitting still a bit challenging.)

My Foster Mom just loves that I am named Marley and that show Marley & Me is such a fun, crazy, tear jerker of a movie. She has been reminding me what amazing lessons dogs teach humans and she asked me what I thought about leaving you with these thoughts. (PLEASE keep in mind, I am not like Marley from the movie in several important ways....I am NOT destructive.) I do believe though....drum roll....that this sums me up quite nicely:

“I had never thought of Marley as any kind of model, but sitting there sipping my beer, I was aware that maybe he held the secret for a good life. Never slow down, never look back, live each day with adolescent verve and spunk and curiosity and playfulness.” ¯ John Grogan, Marley & Me

“Marley taught us the art of unqualified love. How to give it, how to accept it. Where there is that, most other pieces fall into place.” ¯ John Grogan, Marley & Me

***Footnote from Marley's Foster Mom: Who wants this amazing Marley in your life? No need to move quickly....we are going to love, learn from and cherish him each and every day we are blessed enough to have him.
