Molly 06-127 [1]

3/26/06: Molly has arrived safely from northern Minnesota. She is 9 months old and has the most beautiful face and sweet personality. Yes, she has the puppy energy to go along with her cuteness, but with regular exercise and obedience class, that ?puppiness? can be worked with.

She appears to be in great health. She will be going to the vet tomorrow for a checkup and also to get spayed. I?m guessing she is around 50 lbs?very slender and sleek. She could be a model! She originally was a stray, so we do not know about her parents. My guess would be she is not going to get huge.

She grew up around other dogs and she and my other foster, Rusty 06-091, are having the time of their lives playing in the back yard! She is completely housetrained?maybe she?ll teach Rusty all about that?and she is crate trained. She walks okay on a leash, but with some training, she?ll be great! I have a feeling she?ll be a quick learner. We?ll also try out the Gentle Leader on tomorrow's walk. Her intake notes indicate she is a runner--if she gets loose, she takes off. For this reason, a chain link/wooden fence will be needed in her new forever home.
