Profile

Molly and her brother 12-352 Beau arrived this weekend from southern Iowa, and were surrendered by a loving loving family that moved to place that didn't allow dogs. Molly must have lived a wonderful life because she is a happy, well adjusted, playful, typical golden girl. She is 8 years old, spayed and about 10 lbs overweight. She is also very interested in food! Other than being overweight, she seems to be in good health but we will find out this weekend at the vet check-up. We started a diet and daily walks. Molly is very strong, and really pulls on a leash so we are learning to walk with a gentle leader.
Molly is a silly girl. She sits in your lap any chance she gets, has a smile all the time and is really affectionate. She is grabby with her toys so we need to work on that a bit, and she helped herself to dozen freshly baked muffins the first night she arrived so we are working on manners! She has free roam of the house when I am gone, and other than being grabby with her togs, she gets along well with other dogs. I try to keep my kids away from new dogs for a few days to give them time to chill, but Molly can't get enough of the kids. She wants belly rubs and lots of love! Molly sleeps in my room at night, and doesn't make a sound. Neither Beau nor Molly really bark, which would be a great thing to teach Mia!
Molly and Beau have lived together their entire life, but again she is very well adjusted and they are not dependent on each other. I'm having a hard time getting photos of her because she is such a wiggle but! I'll work on better photos and write more once I get to know this sweet girl. If you are interested in learning more about Molly, please contact your placement advisor.
