Profile

Say Hello to Moses! He is the newest addition to the RAGOM family :-) Moses is a 3 month old PB, male, Golden Retriever. He came into RAGOM because he was surrendered to a shelter in SD, he was part of an unwanted litter... well it turns out, he was the only one "unwanted", so that is where RAGOM came in to save the day. Let me tell you... THIS HAS CHANGED! We couldn't be happier to have him here with us! We are totally head over heals about this guy! He rode many, many miles in the car today to make it here to his foster home in Oakdale (THANK YOU RONA, TIM, JOEL and LINDA for helping to make this happen!) but even after hours in the car he was happy as can be. He met all of the resident girls and is already best buddies with our Gracie (10 mo. old GR), he also met foster sister Venus 08-131 and after a few growls on her part all is well! Quite the pack... but hey... there is always room for one more that needs us :-)

Mo (yes, he already has a nickname!) is a fun loving and typical puppy. He is making sure our puppy proofing skills are in full effect! He got a hold of my shoes, begs like crazy for people food, has a ton of energy, and isn't housetrained... yet! So... yes, a typical puppy! He is VERY sweet and snuggly, CUTE as a button, so fluffy with such a great face! He gets along great with all of our dogs, loves to play and loves to give kisses! He was seen by the vet today and weighed in at 17.5 lbs., has a healing sore on his back that was due to a vaccine reaction, and does have a case of roundworms.. which are now being treated. Otherwise... in great health!

Moses is missing his right front leg. He was born without it, and it causes him ABSOLUTELY no problems at all! He can run and play, do stairs, jump up on us... (naughty boy!)... he has no idea it is missing. I'm sure he is looking at our other dogs thinking... "what the heck... that 4th leg must really get in the way :-) " It is amazing how dogs adapt to what they are given in life. Moses has no idea he is missing anything.... and the perfect family for him will not notice either. They'll just see Moses.

We are totally in love! I'm sure you can see why! Stay tuned for more updates and more pictures! This is gonna be FUN! :)
