Mya is a lovely purebred Golden Retriever who was surrendered because of changes in her family’s circumstances. She has lived with small children and is so gentle that the four-year-old could walk her on a leash. Mya loves car rides, treats, and staying close to her people. She has no resource guarding of food or toys. Mya has had a lot of upheaval in her life lately. Her original owner died last year and she was cared for alternately by his son and daughter. Because of changes in their lives, she wound up in a small crate in the laundry room for 8+ hours each day. She developed worsening anxiety and the family realized she needed more than they could provide.
