Nero 11-339 [1]

Meet Nero. She is one of Hope's 10 puppies. She is a Golden Retriever/Black Lab cross and is cute as can be! She has a mostly black coat with a white patch under her lip, a white patch under her chin, and a white strip on her chest. Nero (Greek for Black) was born on Saturday 9/24, making her 4 weeks old! Nero is one of the bigger girls in the litter and was the first one to escape from the first puppy pool! Look out :) She is extra sweet and social and loves her snuggle time.  The puppies are all thriving! They are busy exploring their world and being cute... which they are very good at! They are also very good at making a mess and making us laugh! They have recently started eating a softened kibble and drinking water from a bowl, in addition to nursing from their mom. The puppies LOVE to eat. I joke that my foster puppies are very "advanced" for their age..... because they live with a 2 1/2 year old little boy and they want to get the heck outta here :)  Nero has to stay with us and her brothers and sisters (and mama too) for awhile yet... but she is ready to meet that very special family that she will call his own when the time comes.
