Peeps 07-182 [1]

3/28/07: Peeps arrived Saturday with the other puppy mill Goldens.  She is a small Golden, weighing in at 53.4 pounds.  She was very scared when she first arrived but is starting to come out of her shell.  She even runs up to me when we are outside.  She is still too scared to run into the house and will stay very close to her kennel.  Peeps did hurt her right shoulder and we watching it.  Her vet thinks it is a bruise but we will check back on it in a week.  Aster and Peeps seem to have a bonding thing going.  Aster, our resident Golden, came from a puppy mill herself.  Peeps seems to be getting encouragement from Aster in the attached picture.  Peeps is unavailable for a few weeks as we sort out her medical issues.
