Persy (Foxy 07-399) [1]

This is Foxy, a 5 year old golden retriever from South Dakota.  Foxy came from a breeder so does have several puppy mill traits.  He is afraid of everything, including people right now.  Sadly, he spends most of this time in his crate (his safe place) but does come out to eat, drink and go potty.  He has started to come out more at night and we play a little game; I leave several toys scattered throughout the lower level and he collects them all and brings them back to his crate.

Foxy is a beautiful dog and it is so unfair that he has never been able to really be a dog-he doesn't know how to play with a ball, chew on bones, run with other dogs and has this sad, distant look in his eyes but thanks to RAGOM that will change.  A special thanks to Lisa D for taking Foxy in; I know he misses you! I look forward to giving you more updates as Foxy starts to come around.
