Profile

Precious Polly has been with us for a little over 24 hours now. She has come a long way in those 24 hours and I think with a little patience and a lot of love she will come out of her shell and become the golden she was born to be. She is so adorable as to when you come onto the room or look at her, nothing on her body moves but her tail starts thumping quickly. It is so cute!

Polly went to the vet today and is a healthy little girl. She will be getting spayed on Friday. She weighs 53 pounds and is a little peanut. Polly is estimated at 4 years old. She did see kids at the vet today and really took to them, so I think once she is not afraid anymore, kids could definitely be in her future.

Polly is just a sweet little angel. She follows me from room to room and just curls up in the corner and rests. I think she is quietly observing my dog as to how to be a dog, so if you have a dog you might be a great fit for this precious gem. She doesn't know how to play with dogs or toys or bones or treats! She just looks at them.

She is completely housetrained. She sleeps on the floor by the bed and doesn't move a muscle the whole night and is in a crate during the day.

I can't stress enough how sweet Polly is. She will come up and want to be petted and give you kisses of gratitude. She does have a bit of spunk in her. She was a happy, hyper girl getting out of her crate and was excited to go out in the snow. She also carried my husband's shoe from the front door to the couch as you can see from one of the pictures. She did not destroy or chew it.

As far as car rides, she sits well in the car, but does have problems climbing into them. She doesn't know how! Same with the stairs. She has not figured out how to go up them yet, but is slowly learning.

I think that is all I have for right now. She is wonderful and deserves a real life. Please email placementatragom [dot] org if you feel she might be a good fit for you.
