Pooh arrived in Oakdale, MN on 3/22 but will be moving this weekend to his Foster home in North Dakota.

Pooh is a great dog who doesn't act 7. He shows no age related problems - you would think he was a 3 year old. Pooh enjoys chasing balls but he will not bring them back which is fine with my Oakley who loves to fetch the ball and bring it back.

Pooh gets along with my 3 dogs and my 2 cats. Pooh is a pretty easy going guy who adores humans and would love to soak up all the love he can get.

Pooh does have a few strange habits that he may have had since a pup, hard to tell for sure. Pooh likes to take fleece blankets, rugs, socks or other objects and he would, if you allowed him to (but you shouldn't), chew on them. Pooh at times has growled when I try to take something that he isn't ready to give up or he will run and hide in a kennel with the item. When he does this I just offer him a chew appropriate item or a treat and he easily gives up the item. This habit can be hopefully broken with training otherwise you will need to make sure he doesn't have access to these types of items.

Another strange habit is that he LOVES dog beds… and I mean LOVES them. Other than the two strange habits he is an AWESOME dog. Easy going, not high energy, he enjoys playing, going for walks, likes car rides, when he gets excited playing he barks and talks, and is a huge lover. He makes me laugh a lot of the time. When I ask if the dogs want to go out he always goes to the front door, rolls in the snow, and is just a sweet goofy guy. He is all golden and has all the great qualities that goldens have.
