Rhett 07-033 [1]

2/3/07: Rhett is appropriately named! What a handsome fellow! I suppose you understand that only if you have seen the Clark Gable version of "Gone With the Wind"! You have handsome and then add to that... well mannered, well trained, (he was certified as a therapy dog), sweet and gentle. He is an excellent representative of the Golden breed! Rhett has lived a happy and well socialized life since puppyhood. His owner is sad that with a move, lack of a fenced yard and time restraints she needed to seek a new home. Her first concerns are for Rhett and she desired a new home that can offer him all he deserves.

Rhett is a 4 1/2 year old darker Golden, already neutered, fully vetted, and about 70lbs. He met my resident dogs without incident, although he lived as an only dog. He is already adjusting to a new environment. He has explored the house, eaten a good meal and been in the yard on leash. It is a little too cold for more than a few minutes outside in the northland! More updates to come as we get to know this awesome boy!
