Rosalita was found as a stray and turned over to RAGOM by the local pound. We call her Rosie because Rosalita is a big name for such a little girl. She is about 6 months old and very skinny so she may have been out on her own for a while. She's a good eater but also very energetic so she probably burns it all off. She goes right into her crate at night and sleeps through the night without a peep. No accidents in the kennel but she has had a few in the house so we are trying to keep her on a regular schedule of potty breaks. I don't think she has had any training at all so she is a diamond in the rough. She seems to be getting the idea that counter surfing won't work because there is never anything there, jumping on people is not acceptable and that she is not allowed on the furniture. Well, we're working on those things anyway. When she first came she didn't seem to know what toys were for but she is catching on to that and now chews on bones and plays with stuffed toys. She will chase a ball but doesn't bring it back yet. She loves Sunny and Riley but they have had enough puppy antics for a while and are not interested in playing with her. She loves 18 month old grandson but does jump up and knock him over and loves to lick him so Drew isn't crazy about her. She has been microchipped and all her shots are updated. She is scheduled for her spay on May 17 because that was the first opening. She enjoys car rides and just lays down or looks out the window. Rosie is very pretty with dark red wavy coat and big brown eyes.
It has been a big week in Rosies life. She has come from doggie jail to starting on her trail a RAGOM Golden.
