Ruby 05-259 [1]

9/7/05: Ruby is a purebred 1 year-old Golden Retriever. She is spayed, up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, and weighs about 61 pounds. Ruby is a very tall girl with a medium to light red coat. I did notice that Ruby has some skin allergies going on so we will be helping her with that. It certainly isn't a bad case, but I am sure she would appreciate some relief.

Ruby was surrendered due to lack of time for a young dog. She is very friendly, gets along well with other dogs and so far as done very well with my cats. Ruby has a lot of puppy energy and needs structure and obedience training. She would do better in a family without small children as her exuberance and playfulness could knock over a young child. I don't want to make it sound like Ruby is a terrible girl, because she is not. She just needs a family that will be devoted to spending time with her and giving her the guidance and training that any dog needs.

We will be making a trip to the vet to get her microchipped. I will send in more as we get to know Ruby better.
