Scout arrived a few days ago at our home on Lake Minnetonka and she has happily settled into a life of swimming, rolling in the grass and making BFF of everyone she meets. She is five years old and came to RAGOM from a farm so she is cool with other critters like our old senile Ragdoll cat and our feisty Persian. Nothing seems to faze her...a big fireworks display on the lake didn’t even cause her to raise an eyebrow.
Little Scout has a bit of a weight problem...but based on her activity level she should be peeling off the pounds. She is scheduled to be spayed in the upcoming week, so she will be ready when all the requests to adopt her begin to roll in!
Scout does have a bit of a space issue and she sometimes behaves aggressively toward our resident Ragom Rescue dog, Ollie. Ollie has been very respectful and they have achieved a tenuous truce. I would strongly recommend Scout be considered by a family who plans to only have one dog.
