Introducing Rudy. Rudy is a seven year old gorgeous Golden who is looking for a new home because his family couldn't afford his medical expenses. He gets thyroid medication and clomicalm daily. The clomicalm is for anxiety. Rudy gets anxious and eats items that then need to be surgically removed. I talked to Rudy's vet to help understand what kind of home would be best for Rudy, and he thinks Rudy would do well in a home where he can get plenty of exercise and have a job. Rudy needs an organized home where items like pillows and socks are not available. He does not seem interested in my grandson's hard toys. At my house Rudy has an active doggy companion that keeps him busy. He is interested in cats, but only to chase if they run.

Rudy would be best in a home with older children. He wants to jump up on people and would knock over young children. Rudy is a sweet guy who always has a toy in his mouth. He doesn't shred his dog toys which I find very encouraging. A home where someone is home more would be great. He is an alpha boy so will need a more submissive friend, but an active friend to play with seems to be helpful. Come meet this boy. He is certainly a great dog.
