Rylie has come into RAGOM. We received an email this morning and RAGOM sprang into action.

Rylie a purebred Golden who just turned 4 on April 23rd. What a great present she received - she is now a RAGOM dog. Rylie is spayed and UTD. She is light golden in color and weighs about 43 lbs - she is underweight and needs to gain 5 to 10 lbs. Rylie is great with kids and dogs, met our three with NO problems at all. She has had the run of the house, is kennel trained and housebroken, and rode well in the car.

Now for our issues that we need to deal with. Rylie was hit by a car on February 14, 2008 and broke 4 ribs and injured her right front paw. She has nerve damage in the paw. The veterinarian recommended treatment at the U and having the paw amputated. Her family could not afford the surgery and asked the vet to euthanize her because it was so hard to watch her, thinking she was in pain. The vet recommended RAGOM instead, and that is how she came to us.

When we met with the vet this afternoon, we found there was no pain in the leg whatsoever. Rylie does not care how you manipulate her leg. Even though the previous owner thought she was in pain, but we could not find it. We are going to go to Chuck and Don's [2] tomorrow just to get her out and about to meet people, so please come and visit us! On Monday she will head back to the vet to meet with the surgeon to decide what is next for this young beautiful girl.
