Sam 08-049 [1]

Sam is a gorgeous dark red purebred Golden with the softest fur ever!  He will be 5 years old in February.  He came from a loving family that was moving to an apartment, and couldn't bring him with them. 
 
He loves kids, dogs and gets along fine with cats.  He was hit by a car a couple of years ago and has a metal plate in this front leg, but you wouldn't know it, as he can walk and run like any normal dog.  (See the pic of him chasing my Cocker Spaniel!)  He is fully housetrained, and has full run of the house.  He has this adorable baying that he does when he is excited or wants to go outside.  He sounds like the Bloodhound that lives down the street!  He is neutered and micro chipped.  He loves to cuddle on the sofa.  He sat down in the tub during his bath, loved getting his ears cleaned, and laid down to get his nails clipped.  He pulls like a horse on the flat leash, but walks very nice when wearing the Gentle Leader.  He is a very sweet boy!  I'll update more as we get to know him.
