Meet Sam~

Sam is a 10 month old, neutered, purebred Golden Retriever. Sam is a very mellow puppy; he gets along great with our resident golden, resident poodle mix and even our cat. He was raised with small children and he seems to move gently around people. He was an outdoor dog before coming to RAGOM. His family had financial hardship and had to move from the country to an apartment in town and just didn’t have the room for him. He is learning what it is like to live inside here and that he needs to let us know when he needs to go out to do his business. He is also learning to walk on a leash; he pulls on the flat collar but does well with the gentle leader. Did I mention that Sam is a big boy; His paperwork says he is 75 pounds and he is thin at that. He could easily put on another 10 or 15 pounds and just be at a healthy weight. You can see him in the photo with our resident golden Lacey who weighs about 60 pounds and she looks very small next to him. If you would like to meet Sam let your RAGOM placement advisor know.
