I would like to introduce Goose to the RAGOM family.  She is a mild mannered and lovely young lady. I know--a female named Goose?  Trust me, we are trying on lots of names to see what she likes.  If nothing else, Lucy. I just cannot do Goose for a lovely lady like her.

Goose is completely up to date on shots and has an appointment to get her spay done on Tuesday morning and she will then come home Wednesday afternoon.

Goose and this foster family would like to thank Julie for helping us out and picking Goose up on Thursday and holding her for us.  We really appreciate that.  See, we already had two foster dogs and three of our own, so I thought that might get to be a little much for Goose to come into.

Goose was picked up at 11:30 and by 1:00 she is completely settled in and has made friends with the three resident dogs.  She now lives with Sophee, our RAGOM rescue, Coal and Mistee Bubbles our Newfoundlands.  Sophee of course loves Goose and has attached herself to her side to show her the ropes of the good life.  Obviously Goose was loved because she knows what toys are, she has papers and she is a great dog.  So far we have had no potty issues either--what better life is there?

It looks like Goose may have had some kind of surgery on her left shoulder since there is a pretty big scar, but this does not seem to bother her.  She also seemed to have hurt her left paw somehow so we will get that checked out on Tuesday as well. 

We went for a short walk this afternoon and she did very well on a leash--a little scared of all the new noises and experiences but just looked to us for guidance and reassurance.  She did remarkably well.
