Sandy is a beautiful lady of 13. Although she is a bit overweight (like 20#), that body can leave the ground when she sees her leash. Some days we walk nice and slooow, some days I 'power walk' to keep up.

Our trip to the vet was pretty uneventful...unless you can picture the vet struggling to get this chunk on the exam table!!! As her family had taken excellent care of her, she just needed the annual shots and microchip. Her blood tests will be back in the next few days. She is a bit afraid of storms, but she has several spots to hide. Once in her safety zone, off to sleep she goes and snores follow shortly!

Fostering a senior is an honor. They know what is and is not acceptable, like to keep their humans in sight, nap often and are ready to travel anytime. Sandy does not need another dog, but she is more than tolerant of the 2, 3 and 5 year old Goldens here.
